Marie Emilia Tendeiro, 88, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010 in Weston, Florida.
She was born in Fornos de Algodres, Portugal and came to the US in 1940 where she resided in the Ironbound Section of Newark. She moved to Union in 1985 and has been residing in Florida since 1998.
She was a parishioner of both Our Lady of Fatima Church, Newark and St. Michael's Church of Union.
Wife of the Late Antonio A. Tendeiro; devoted and loving mother of Anne-Marie Bursevich and her husband Gary, and the late Isabel Soares; dear grandmother of Joseph Soares, Lindsey and Jonathan Bursevich; great- grandmother of Isabelle and Matthew Soares.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund 5420 NW 33rd Ave, Suite 100 Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309 would be appreciated.
