Maria Madalena Vilarinho (Nee Lopes), 48, died at her home in South River on Tuesday, March 2, 2010.
She was born in Gafanha do Carmo, Ilhavo and came to the US in 1974 where she resided in the ironbound Section of Newark and has resided South River for the past 18 years.
Maria and her family own the Madrid Lisboa Restaurant in Newark and the Riverside Supermarket in Elizabeth.
Beloved wife of Silvino Jesus Vilarinho; devoted and loving mother of Nelson and Steven Vilarinho; sister of Celestino Lopes.
