George Michael Weinbel, Jr., 93, died on Friday, February, 26, 2010 at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark.
He was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of the Ironbound Section.
He was a packer for Celanese Co. of Newark for many years retiring at the age of 63. He served as an Usher for St. Benedict's Church, Newark for 65 years. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Clubs of both Providence St. and Clifford St., Newark;
Devoted and loving brother of Ruth Wienbel, who took care of him for so many years, Irene Weinbel, Richard Weinbel and his wife Patricia and the late Ana Miethke, John and Joseph Weinbel. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
