Joseph Shear, 85, died suddenly on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at his home in Newark.
He was born in Newark and has been a lifelong resident of the Ironbound Section.
Mr. Shear was a Driver for Smith's Transfer Co. of Newark for 35 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of Teamsters Local 560 and the Independence Park Senior Citizen's Monday Club in the Ironbound
Beloved husband of 59 years of Marie C. "Mildred" Shear (nee Martella); devoted and loving father of Joseph and Karen Shear; dear brother-in-law of Victoria Shear; also survived by many nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
